Practice Match #1

A fantastic Friday night for football as our senior men took to Overport Park in their first hit out against an opponent, with Swinburne University making the trip down to Frankston South.

With a good crowd in attendance, our seconds (playing in the green SFNL clash strip) played the first three terms and showed some very positive signs against a much more experienced senior team that made Semi Finals last year in VAFA Division 3. Our seniors then took to the field under lights and showed us what we have in store for season 2018 - and the crowd liked what they saw! The Dolphins moved the ball quickly and with purpose and looked like they had been playing together for years. With a number of our "big names" missing from the practice match, the future is looking as bright as the Overport lights.

We take on South Mornington next Friday night at 6.30pm in our final hit out prior to the season, so make sure you get along and support the boys.
