Be an 'ALL IN' Dolphin in 2022

Whilst 2021 didn’t provide us with a full uninterrupted season of sport, it did give us a reminder of just what we missed in 2020 and how integral local sport is in the lives of many in our community.

Pleasingly it also showed us that we are on the right track, with the launch of our first Under 19’s football team at the club (resulting in a number of former junior players returning to football and making finals in their first season) and the relaunch of our Women’s football team who finished the season as minor premiers. Add to that two Netball teams (one of which were minor premiers), our Reserves finishing in the top 4 and our Senior footballers just falling short in a compromised season, and the future is looking bright.

We now prepare for season 2022 and beyond with an even greater hunger and desire to continue our growth as a club and set ourselves for ongoing, sustainable success. How successful we are as a club, team, or at an individual level is up to each of us, so we are asking that everyone from the committee, our players, volunteers, supporters through to our sponsors, commit to being ‘ALL IN’ for season 2022.

Our call to be ‘ALL IN’ means buying in, giving it your absolute best effort, committing to your teammates, and knowing that those beside you make the same commitment, committing to the club to ensure we are as successful on the field as well as off and importantly, coming together as one club to celebrate our successes and taking our club to the next level.

As a club, ‘ALL IN’ means ensuring we are connected to supporting our players, members, sponsors, and community.

To our supporters, there are there are three ‘call to action’ points that we ask you to consider in the lead up to 2022 that will assist in positioning our club for success. Would you please consider:

  1. Becoming a member for 2022 (or even a sponsor) and look to bring one person each with you.

  2. Join a Coterie Group (Dolphin Pod, CLUB 50 or Ladies Coterie)

  3. Volunteer for a match day role and become an integral part of our team in what is sure to be an exciting 2022 season.

There is no doubt about it, the club is hungry for success and what motivates and drives many of us is ultimate success and premierships. But in striving for that, we need to ensure that we do this sensibly and sustainably whilst staying true to our purpose – to provide a seamless pathway to senior football and netball. In this regard, our strategic plan drives us forward and clearly speaks to what we want to do, what we want to stand for and how we are going to do it.

We would love to have you share in our success by being ALL IN for season 2022.
